its been awhile since we had a good poll.
i realize there are more vendors than can be listed. multiple choice is allowed.
so post up your favorite vendor and why.

Ive only really delt with RRE and FP. They both are equally great at customer service, but RRE has more than just turbos so I picked them.

I have only delt with RRE and FP on this list...
RRE shipped me my parts really quick with good customer service, and Robert @ FP is always friendly and helpful when I had questions on turbos...
I have purchased parts form Extremepsi.com also, they were very prompt at sending me my fuel pump for the GST. :)

Slow Boy helped us out on our engine..
we got a stage2 block from them and it ended up being rebuilt several times localy...
couldnt figure out what was wrong with it...
sent it back to them and they rebuilt a different block for us, for free labor

road race has never failed me. I just tell them what i need and they send it. It's usually cheaper than the website says and they rarely if ever charge me shipping.

extreme motorsports gets my vote(fp and dejon get 2nd place votes just cuz their products are supernice). pretty much everything on my car is from them, my uicp, exhaust, turbo, injectors etc and have never had a problemo

what about machv? has any one used them?

There wasn't enough room to add them. You get to add 10 choices to a poll and there must be 20 or so vendors.
I bought some stuff off MachV (MBC, gauges, misc. stuff) for my first DSM. I learned pretty quickly after that they pretty much stock Buschur products and bump the price.

ya MachV has been fine for me too. Just pricey so I go elsewhere.

I buy all of my performance parts from whoever wants to give me the best price. 75% of the parts on my car are from people of dsmtrader.com :) The other 25% I buy new from Mitsubishi, RRE, FP or Groupbuycenter.com

I'm with intaginize, most of my stuff has purchased locally or from the trader, dsmtuners, etc... I am not loyal to any vendor, I shop for the best price and shipping dates, RRE seems to have good prices, ship quick, nice guys for the most part.

Its pretty rad because Slow Boy Racings shop is only a half hour away from me. The guys out there are really cool to.

I have ordered from slowboy in the past. Service was good. Nothing to complain about. I believe it is because they are a relatively new shop and by now most people are used to dealing with older vendors they are used to.

I wouldn't buy from Slowboy again if they were the cheapest shop in the world. I ordered some parts and then after finding out they didnt even have them in stock but had already charged my credit card I decided to cancel my order. They charged me a 15% restocking fee for all the parts that they didnt even have in stock!
RRE did good work on my car but Mike W is a jerk. I went to their shop and in one week spent close to 4K dollars and got treated like crap by the guy. He's definitely a cocky ego maniac and if I buy another DSM I wont be dealing with him anymore.

Oh yeah as far as the debt thing goes if I had kept my most recent DSM any longer then I did I'd have definitely gotten into debt.
Car Cost $2200
Tow Bill $600
Head Rebuild $2200
Other mods $1800
After installing the GM MAFT I burned the rings right out of it. Traded it in and got $1200 on my trade. So all in all Owning a DSM that I got to drive a total of 2 weeks cost me $5600. I wish I could say the 2 weeks of owning a drivable DSM made the $5600 worth it but unfortunately that was not thew case.
Needless to say my next Project car is going to be a 1968 Camaro. I've had enough DSM action to last a lifetime.

I have ordered quite a bit from RRE, and while the service hasnt been bad, it hasnt been great. Bushur sucked. Not very good customer service- wont ever deal with them again unless there is no other choice.
Fast Forward does extremely well. PTE is an EXTREMELY good resource and have never let me down.
Slowboy has been ok the few times I have used them.
