I havent really ever seen anyone do it on a DSM, but the white suby's looks sweet with gold rims on a white car.
The Gram Light 57pro look awsome, but I cant really picture them on my car.
Any opinions?

I like them, but they are so light I would never run them everyday, too easy to bend them. for everyday wheels I like the BuddyClub P1 or 2, which are light(17ish lbs for a 17-18" wheel), and pretty tough- I think they look good too

I don't think they would look bad at all.
I agree with the light wheels on the streets. Look at the FD rims. And they are only race rims.

Yeah, but the FD rims are cast not forged like the 57pro's.
I dont think I can really justify the cost of the 57pro's though. I still do want to get a gold rim though. If not then some gun metal rims would still be cool, but not nearly as different. Seems like everyone with a white car gets white or gunmetal rims.

the BuddyClubs also come in Gold and that Gold/Bronze colour you see on subies all the time- I have seen them for about 500 or so a set on ebay, and they are decent wheels- we used the americanized version marketted here as Kosei on the Mazdas in World Challenge, and they worked great and took a beating.

I like these. I wrote them an email and asked what the shipping would be to C.S.
The next step would be what tires to get.
I was thinking of some training wheel rims to trash on the road coarse while i learn to "drive" my car. Its between the supra 712's, and the Kumhu MX's. The 712's can be gotten at discount tire here in the springs.

The rims on the website I posted have a offset of 35mm. That seems like its way off, but I did some checking and using the "check spacing" formula from http://www.martincheck.com/wheel_tire_fitment_FAQ.html It would give me a back spacing with 225 tires. If I upgrade to 245's then I would be extremely close to the limit of rubbing.
If I decide to get these should I get the 35mm off set, or hold out and try and get 40 or 42mm. Im thinking the 35mm will be fine.
Heres a 17x8 rim with a 32mm offset and that looks fine.
Im pretty sure itll work out, but i would just like a little re-assurance.
