Ok, as a few of you know I've been having issues with my AEM setup lately. The UEGO wideband was DOA and had to be sent back, so I was basically tuning in the dark.

Well after a long time fighting it I figured out why it wouldn't run. Some dickhead that sold me my 950's actually sold me 550's. I can tell you right now that trying to get 550's to run that lean isn't easy (but it actually did it with a spectacular backfire display).

Anyhow, Spent some small time driving today and will finish the fine tuning when the weather clears up (stupid snow).

That is the kind of crap that would piss me off so much; but hey, it's awesome you were able to fgure out what was wrong.

Injectors are one of those things I just wont buy used. For reasons stated above.

I will - I just make sure I have friends that live near the seller.

For obvious reasons.

I have to say, I like XakEp's approach on this one :)

Even if you have "friends" here or there, the fact remains. You have 550cc/min injectors when you bought 950's. You're still going to have to track down the stuff you could have just bought to begin with.

This isn't going to turn into a thread like that so how about we just solve it with, 550's were sent 950's weren't. Who cares about the rest :)

SHE'S ALIVE and doing AWESOME. Right now I have her idling at about 11:1 af so I need to lean it out after setting base timing. I can do blow offs just by reving and letting off the throttle. I need to get some zip ties to keep all my cables out of the way of things and then I'll be driving her.
