Yesterday morning I helped Bob tune the car he built for his daughter (max draco's old car). We did correct quite a few things with the car.

First we got the boost set at 20psi to start with. After about 18 pulls this is the best the car did on pump gas. I did not include the wideband simply because I think the filter was a tad bit dirty.... The blue lines are the first pull of the day.

Next we added some 105 to the tank which made it about 100-101 fuel. Here is the best we got.

The a/f on the dsmlink was around 11.5:1 12:1 on the 105 and about 11:1 on 91 which is ideal for these situations. Oh yah the temp on the rollers was about 97-99 degrees. So yah it was a damn hot day.....

The turbo is an fp2544 set at 20psi with a 6 bolt long block.

We should know weds how the car does on the strip :)

Tara took it out for a drive and it was unbelievable fast! Totally different car! Thanks for all the help!

After spending all those hours building this motor and all the performance modifications, it is very rewarding to see it all come to fruition.

What a fun sport.

Next project!? A 10 second 1g tube frame track car.
What do you think?
