Anyone use them?
I am sure ill be needing to redo the shocks in the laser since it's a 90 and im guessing has all the original suspension components. I had AGX's and Pro Kits on my 2G and hated the ride quality so I'm looking for something not quite as stiff as the AGX's.
How do the GR2's work? Would you buy them again? Should I just bite the bullet and buy the AGX's?

GR2s are only slightly better than stock.

My bro uses them in his GolfIII in the back and stock up front because he has lots of heavy stereo stuff.......they work just fine but are only slightly stiffer than stock. I wouldn't use them on any car with more than a 1" drop.

I had 'em on my '93 and I liked them and they were a bit better than stock especially combined with the Eibach Pro-Kit but they really aren't for the road course. At $170 a set they're hard to beat if your budget is tight.

I used them on my Talon. Highly recommend. They car had 142,000 miles. Rode like a brand new car when installed. I did eibach pro kit springs as well. I put these same shocks on a 2G. They were awesome. Very cheap and get the job done.

Yeah, the value really can't be beat, I found my bro's GR2s for $29 for each rear strut. He has had them in for a couple years and drives the shit out of his car with 200lbs of AMPs and Subs in the hatch, they still feel as stiff as they did a year ago.
