Only the creators know for sure.

It used to be why (TMO was still around).

Then, we're looking into it (TMO shut down).

That tuned into, its in development.

Lately it's been, soon, but no release date.

They are also working on one for the EVO. So for just 2 people, thats a big handful.

If thats the case then I'm going to hold off on the AFC and go find myself an EPROM 1G ecu.

Excellent news.

Dave, Hal, you guys know any reason why a 1G dsmlink might be inferior to the 2g link version?
Think it might be better to just do the 2g dsmlink in a 1g; considering the cost of a 2g eprom ecu when I already have a 1g eprom ecu?

I wonder if they would fix the caps when they install the chip/socket set?

So Hal, what's the deal? Are you testing this now or what?

I can't speak as to when it will be released, or what it will cost.

I can say that the installation was a snap, and all of the components are extremely high quality.

The cable looks like no other 1g cable in terms of construction quality.

The software install was very simple, and the only new feature is the choice of MAF (1g, 2g, GVR4). This must be selected for the maf adjust features to work properly.

There are some tweaks to the U/I on the P/C client, but nothing "major".

Is there going to be an " integrated " setting to use the popular GM-MAF / Translator combo ? Or do you have to do it like the 2g guys do, dial in with the 2g mas and then switch over to the GM ?

Hal

The is no "integrated" setting and you don't have to "dial it".

It's pretty damn close right out of the box.

Some people want the air flow curves to be even closer, so they use DSMLink to fine tune the curves.

Thx for the info, im really interested in the 1g dsmlink, btw, can/will you guys rebuild ecu's ? like i have a bad eprom ecu ( leaky cap ) and was wondering if i could get the socketing and repair done in one whole deal, of course paying extra for the repairs.

Contact Dave Mertz

Refer to the contact page at www.dsmlink.com

He does the best ECU repairs, hands down.

I doubt the original engineers know the ecu as good as Dave does, that guy is awesome.

People on the "notify list" will get "ready to go" emails on 11/1/2004

Here it is boys and girls: Hey Steve! We're just about ready to roll. We have selected Nov 1st as our notify date. That is, we'll send out e-mails to the notify list on that date saying we're ready to go. Pricing will be $565 for the EPROM only package with a $30 socket service fee if needed. However, we will probably reduce that price even more for the guys that have been waiting on the notify list for a while (that includes you)...

i can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
