ok, so i got my ecu out a few minutes ago, and my dsm luck has shifted. it is infact an eprom ecu. with that being known, i now can step up and order link :) but, before i do, i need a couple questions answered.

how long does it take. from the time i send them my ecu, to the time i get it back in my hand, how long will this entire process take? i daily drive my car and cant have it be down for very long, so this is a top priority question.

what do i tell them to set my baselines too? i plan on running 720s, should i make those my defaults? what other things can i set as default, and what should i tell them to make them?

lastly, who can help me tune. ill be honest and say i have no idea what im doing when it comes to the tunnning thing, so i will need some help and teaching. will i need to make a dyno appointment to do this, or can it be done on the street? ill be willing to head to whereever anyone can help me at, and try and give a little monetary thx. but, since im poor and in college, it wont be too much.

but anyway. thx for everyone who helps me out on this.

Brock, set your baselines to what you would want in there in case you lose power. If you'll be FOR SURE running 720's get it larger so you don't run pig rich on the way back to your place after a power outage to get your laptop/palm. As for how long it takes, it's usually a week or two tops. I would ask around and see if anyone has a spare they can lend you. As far as tuning, I will tune your car for free, but you'll have to work around my schedule. I'll do it on the street or at a dyno. You're driving, it's your tickets, you choose.

Follow the ordering instructions on DSMLink.

If you do it right, turn around time should be about 4-5 days after you get confirmation they are ready for you.

ok, so ill set my injectors to 720's

should i put idle at stock, or higher?

launch at whatever i need i guess, which will be 4500

should i leave rev limit at stock?

i should not check the cas, correct?

and the hacked maf, whats that about? just leave it unchecked? or is this a mod i should consider.

and i think i get the drift, ill make adyno time whenver it gets in and your available. how long will we need it for?

thx again.
