I busted my engine mount on my 2G AWD, and need a replacement asap. I was thinking about getting another stock one, or just a poly from RRE. The mount is on the driverside. I already have front and rear bump stop inserts (ES). No balance shafts, Skunk2 coils/tokico 5ways, and ES. I mostly (will) drive to work and back, occassional street race, and occassional out on the town drives.
My future plans include ground controls (soon) a built 2.4l and a 3065 or similiar turbo.
So, what do you guys recommend?
Thanks,
Chad

I'd get the prothanes, they're easy to put in once you get the old ones out. Not to mention why waste the money on stock.

Your car is gonna vibrate like a motherfucker with the poly side mounts. I have them on all 4 of my mounts and my car rattles VERY bad, ask Quinn. I'm actually pulling my side poly mounts off and putting rubber one's back in. All you really need is the front and rear poly mounts anyways to keep it from rolling.

I have the Prothane full kit in my 1G and I dont think it vibrates that much really. I think the ES is worse, but I could be wrong about that in regards to a 2G. My front MM is bad as well(the prothane kit doesnt use a full bushing for the front MM, just re-inforcements) so when I get the new MM in with the shells that might make it a little worse, but I doubt it.

My vibration problems might also have alot to due with my cams. If I keep the idle at 1000 or above it doesn't rattle at all, if I let it below 999 it rattles like a mofo.

Gotta love dsmlink :P Adjustable idle, plus, with the light flywheel, I try to keep the idle close to 1k.
I'm thinking about trying that windo weld crap for a cheap quick fix. But I plan to order the prothane as well, probably monday.

Window weld doesn't work very good if the one you have already is ripped all to hell. Don't be ghetto, order the prothanes, you can get them cheap (just the two mounts w/out roll stops) from Summit.
