tuning question

hey guys i got my maft set up hooked up today. i took the car out and it just didnt feel fast. like the turbo wasnt able to really push it right. runs ok at idle and through throttle. i do have a broken bolt that hold my fuel rail the middle of the three bolts. could this be causing a leak that is killing all the turbo power? also my FTR02 trim went to around 170% at 60% tps. does it need to be richened back up in the mid throttle area? thanks for the help.

its only building 10psi of boost and when i stopped and popped the hood it smelled weird like a burning smell almost and there was a little smoke coming up from behind the intake manifold i think......any ideas?

Are you trying to get your car to catch fire? You have a broken bolt, get a new one and fix it so no fuel leaks onto hot parts and starts an engine fire. Then go from there once that is fixed. Sounds like u have boost leaks too.

FIX THAT BOLT ASAP. DOn't drive it unless you want to burn your car down and claim insurance.

ok will do, you dont think that would be causing a boost leak of some sort as well do you? it does bolt in to intake manifold right? so it it possible?

It is very possible. That rail holds down the injectors that go into the intake manifold. It could/most likely be pushing air out in between the injector seals.

Although, probably not enough to cause that, so you probably have more. Do a leak test.

can someone clear this up for me...... if my low med and hi fuel trims are all right around 100% which they are,... why is my FTR02 jumping to around 167% when i only on throttle about half way. once i go WOT it goes back down to 100% and if i let off gas then brake it also goes back to 100% does my mid throttle tuning need to just be richened up some or what?
