I have had my 3" GM MAF and MAF trans. for a whiel now, and it is giveing me some trouble. My high fuel trim is at 105% My mid is at 118% and the low likes to travel from 97- 105%

I know i want to get them down to about 100% without knock but it's just really being a pain in my ass. I logged a pull the other day and it pulled nice with thoughts fuel trims and with no knock.

So my question is if i run 118% which is lean, but with no knock is this ok. I think it would be ok seeing how i'm not gettting detonation but i'm not sure of this.

Also i could swear to god that the mid throtle knob on the maf trans. doesn't do shit so what the hell is it for and how can i get my car working like it sohuld be.

You have a '90, right? I ask because I think the ECU from the other years has more flexable fuel trims.

Hmmmm, well I don't think you are maxing out your trims than, because my '90 ecu definately can't flex more than 18% in all the trims.

What I would do is add some fuel in the mid-range and reset the ecu to bring the trims back to 100%
