I thought I fried my nitrous sprayer, but I took it apart and so far everything works. Either the wiring is fubared or I'm missing something. I have V2 with it enabled, and everything looks to be setup right. However, I have absolutely no emissions or unneeded sensors. Do I need to have the FPS sensor in the car for the nitrous to work?

If you log the FuelPresSol does it show 1 when if it meets all the variables you defined in the nitrous window? If it is at 0 then something made it stay off.

Also when you wire it up you should have the +12 going to the relay for the nitrous and the ground from the relay going to the ecu.

we've got it setup for pull to ground, not to hot.

+12 -> master on/off -> relay coil -> ecu (f/p solenoid line) -> ground

Yeah, we have it wired a bit different. It was working, then he went and removed the FP solenoid and now it isn't working (he did other things as well). So I guess the question is, does the FP solenoid have to be wired in for it to function? Is it part of the circuit?

No, not required.

But, if you put 12v to the line without any load (like the relay or factory solenoid) between the battery/alt and the ecu... you could have smoked the driver circuit in the ecu.

This nitrous is pissing me off. All connections are good, logging FPS, I get a 1 when all variables are met. The way that it is wired is ecu to master switch>switch to relay>2 grounds>and one side of the nitrous solenoid.
The other side of the solenoid is straight to the battery with a fuse.

When measuring the voltage of the ecu line, I get minimal voltage .012 at the most.

I don't quite understand how I fried the driver, but it might look that way. Any other way of testing the driver out? Can anyone here locally fix it, Hal, Dave? Any other line that I can use?

Anymore help would be great,
Thanks,

You can bring the car over and we can double check things for you, but any ecu repairs would best be left to someone like Dave Mertz

Hal, that would be great, what would be a good time for you?

Sounds good, I should be able to show up sometime. If you could pm me your phone #, I'll give you a call before heading over.
Thanks again,
Chad
