Once I get a new hood and windshield I need to get my car tuned. I was just wondering where you guys recommend to get an AWD DSM dyno tuned? And also how much it is going to cost?
Thanks

As far as I know, there are only two places in the metro area that you can dyno an AWD car. MAC autosports in Parker and Autosport Werks in Broomfield(?).

Depending on your location, either one will work.

MACS use a roller dyno (drive on, strap down, make pulls, release straps, drive off), where Autosport uses the hub pack dyno (remove wheels and install hub adapters, make pulls, reinstall wheels, drive out).

Not too sure how the guys at Autosport are to DSM'ers, but I can vouch that the guys at MACS are very helpful and very friendly.

Check the Vendors forum. MAC is having a huge special right now.

Fury. Go to MAC. They are very friendly and know what they are doing. Plus they are about 60% of the price of autosport werks. Plus you can drive your car if you want. ITS fun.

I was over there to watch on there grand opening and they have a great setup. Not sure if they have the software for checking boost curve but that would be something of interest. Even though I'm not AWD I don't have any electronics to data log a boost curve (not sure you can even do that) so that is something I would look for if possible.

I can log my boost on DSMlink

You can log it's best guess on boost, but it's not 100% accurate. On my EMS I can log 100% accuratly the boost I am running. God bless Klavico.

Actually, by logging a 3 bar map sensor, it's dead accurate :)

Yeah, I imagine it would be after calibration of the sensor with the ECU... but somehow I get the feeling that Dallas doesn't use a MAP sensor.

I checked the venders forum and I don't see anything about MACS specials. Also where is Parker? Thanks

Ok, allow me to reiterate...

Somehow I doubt Dallas has a ANY MAP sensor routed into an input for the ECU.

And just so anyone that might get a clever bone in their head brings it up, the 2Gs do not have MAP sensors, they have MDP sensors on the manifold.

Huh? Wheres the scratchy head smily when you need it...I just said I use the greddy 3bar map sensor to log it with dsmlink...

Ok, back on topic..Anyone know of any AWD dyno in oregon ;)

Last I saw I thought you were just runnin the sensor to your boost gauge. I guess I'm outta it.

Heh, that was long ago...I way before they even had the feature of logging it.. :P. Remember, you havent seen my car for at least 18 months, before I went to Iraq.
