Which would you guys perfer?
There is 2 different ways to go with this.
The typical $60 fee is not outragous at all. But, we may be able to attract more people if we lower the fee. Side effect is that the class winners will not recieve a cash prize.
We need your thoughts to make this better than the last one.

The lower fee with no payouts will make it more fun. This will also encourage more people to show up and run versus just show up and watch.

DSM, doesn't matter if it's FWD or AWD
note: AWD and 4WD are two different things.

I posted this in the poll for last time by accident. This is what I think about the fees for the event and possible prizes:
Maybe we should have lower fees, but high enough for some type of prize for the winner. Not nesecarily a cash prize, but maybe a trophy. Hell, it could be something cool like the jacket they do in golf, and each time we have a comp, it switches hands and goes to the winner that time... I think that'd be very nice. Then the winner would have to back up his numbers next time (or improve) to keep the trophy/prize/jacket/etc......

Hmm. How about creating a trophy made out of old misc parts kinda like the trophy that they give in Junkyard Wars? I've got plenty of old parts that I'd donate to the cause. Someone else would have to do the actual design of the trophy and the welding, as I don't have time.
It would make it a special event if we had a custom trophy to give.

Sure, we can do a trophy :) We'll discuss it. Would be kinda neat
