ok, well..... i was just curious about what you guys think about the AFR? i mean it has more adjustement points than the AFC-I and it is cheaper.... i was wondering if any of you had any personal experience tuning your own dsm's with this thing..... i understand that u r supposed to be able to vent with the product but that it doesnt work.... i have also heard that it is a PAIN in the ass to tune with. Also that the fetures of the AFR are better... can anyone help me clear up some of these questions about the afr and their personal experience with the product?

also searching on the afr got me even more confused... are there 2 versions of this prodcut? if soo which one is greater and why.... from what i can make of it one looks like a round thing the other looks like a knob style AFC but with a screen...... the round one only has a round knob.... if you guys could help me out on this it would be awsome..... i know they are both piggy back but, i might need something cheap before link comes out for the 1g.
thanks, Marco

The last and final experience I had with an HKS AFR is that its not the best product. It forgets values pretty easy and its too big of a hassle to change settings.
Do an AFC then wait for the link and you can sell the AFC for roughly what you purchased it for.

i personally did not like the hks afr. i admit im not the best tuner and still learning, but i just did not like it. i ended up selling it for 150 bucks on ebay. i was pretty stoked i got that much.

cool, thanks guys.... if you go to http://hksusa.com/categories/?id=1073 you see 2 versions of the AFR correct? i donno i mean i see the one with the little screen, then i see one with just AFR written on it( the screen is on the fist page, then if you go to the link for the AFR you see the other one)..... are theres two differnt models? also is there anyone here that could help me tune this thing as well even if i were to get one? i see the up's and downs to this product.. i belive i will go with the AFR simply because it is inexpensive, and it does tune decently from what i hear..... thanks guys and keep the posts coming if you have any suggestions, Thanks, Marco
