This is a simple guide on how to wire up the maximizer to DSMlink and still use the full nitrous functionality of both devices.

Now a typical nitrous installation with DSMlink only requires 1 relay:

Pin 85 - Switch 12v/arm switch
Pin 86 - BCS wire on the DSMlink
Pin 30 - Switch 12v
Pin 87 - Output to solenoids
Pin 87a - disconnected

With that being said this allows you to use the DSMlink by itself to control the nitrous. Now to add the maximizer this gets a little more complex

First you wire up the Maximizer just like it is shown in the installation book.

One of the harnesses you install is a 4 wire harness going up to the solenoid driver in the engine bay. The white wire is a switched 12v signal. Meter the white wire and verify its a 12v output from the maximizer. Cut the switched 12v signal and extend the wires to where you will mount the relay.

Now wire up a 30 amp relay in this fassion:

Pin 85 - Switch 12v/arm switch
Pin 86 - BCS wire on the DSMlink (ground)
Pin 30 - White wire (12v output from maximizer)
Pin 87 - White wire (solenoid driver side)
Pin 87a - disconnected

This will allow you to set the DSMlink to use all the nitrous parameters. If any of those conditions are met the relay closes and allows the solenoid driver to operate. When the DSMlink causes the relay to open the solenoid driver shuts down.

I will add some wiring diagrams to this later on once I get my visio reinstalled.
