Is there any reason (other than being to thin) why cross drilled rotors couldn't be turned?

If they have surface cracks, then they could potentially be cracked through.

I've seen more than one set get cracked completely in half. But that was a product of being used on the track under severe conditions.

I would say that unless they are warped or cracked, then you shouldn't have any issues turning them.

I got my cross drilled and slotted rotors turned at napa for $10 a piece. As long as they aren't cracked I dont see why they won't turn them.
