Is there a difference in the rotors for 1g and 2g SPCs?

I had already looked there but, I looked again. I know about 1g DPCs and I already know that rotors for DPCs are bigger. I was given some crossed drilled rotors and was told that they are 1g SPC rotors. I didn't know there would be a difference. Sorry if I'm missing something. If you think I ask a lot of questions you should see the ones I finds answers to but looking on VFAQ, etc.

90-92.5s have single pistons. In late 92 through all 2g models have a dual piston.
So to answer your question, there are no 2g single piston calipers.
Edit: After a search on vfaq.com.
2g FWD cars have the same single piston setup as the 1gs. If you find you have a rare 2g with 2 piston calipers, you need to get the larger rotors.

so all the 2g rotors should be the same right? i know the 3000gt's are also the same as the 1g's with 2 piston calipers

No I'm pretty sure that FWD 2g's still have the single piston calipers, which have slightly smaller rotors than the AWD 2-piston calipers.

I have a 95 GST FWD. It has single piston calipers. There is a difference between these and the 1g single piston calipers though. The fittings are different. 1gs are thread and 2gs have banjo fittngs.
I'm trying to find out what brake lines to get to use these 1g calipers on my 2g.

I wish I could find the link, but I remember reading something about someone else who had this problem.
I didn't want to say anything because I can't remember for sure, but I think that only the 95's had the different banjo style bolt, and that the earlier and later cars shared the same direct setup (At least for the DPC's).
Also, I think the fix was just to get whatever brake lines matched the calipers, but again, this is going from something I read like a year ago. I'm usually pretty good about this kind of thing but I wouldn't go out and buy new brake lines and calipers just yet. It does make sense though.
Hope this helps, maybe someone can verify either way.

I have a set of rubber brake lines that fit the calipers I'm installing. I couldn't get the old ones off at the other end. I didn't want to screw it up. So I couldn't tell if they'd fit or not.

I imagine they're all the same at the body side so you shouldn't have a problem. My only concern would be a difference of length between the two, so you should be able to check that witout it attached.
I don't think you can take the 1g's off if the caliper is still attached, but you're working with the banjo style so I'm guessing you're having a hard time at the other end. Hit it with some penetrating lubricant (like pb blaster or liquid wrench, or even oil if you don't have anything else) and let it sit for a while.
