Has anyone thought about having a live feature with the site? I know we have the messenger but I dunno of anyone using it.

Just a thought. It would be a nice thing to add imo.

We use to have an IRC server but there wasn't much use so I turned it off. If folks want it I can turn it back on.

I know I miss it. I'm on IRC more than any messenger anyway.

The only problem is that some people don't use irc. I'm sure I could have a friend code up some simple chat program that eitehr runs in a browser or as an executable. Just a thought.

definately down with IRC. I use that more as well. And the idea of live chat I have been wondering about for a bit as well.

The IRC client we used was web based.

Could use a CGI Client for the members that don't know how to use mIRC.
