I recently moved to north Denver (Lafayette), saw some posts on 2gnt.com about this forum so here I am. I don't know what to think about this "no posts in the last 30 days" stuff in here. There's hundreds of nt 2g's on the roads around here, it seems at least a few would be into knowing about their vehicle. If all the members here are forced induction, mitsu powered boost junkies and "don't take kindly" to their little chrysler-underpowered siblings, let me know and I'll leave quietly. If anyone in the area wants to cruise some mountain roads sometime let me know. I love it out here.

Sorry man. We are all addicted to boost around here. At one time, the first dsm anything in my group of friends was a 93 2.0L non turbo. Then a 97 420A talon. Now we are all 95-95 awd fans. You will get love here. But our knowledge base is the 4G63. Its all in good fun. Welcome to the board and post as you feel you need. We all have a good knowledge of cars in general. I know I do at least as I am the family mechanic for everyone.

Guess I can't blame you, 95-99 awd's are the ultimate DSM (in my mind, I'm sure this is debated here). If I had the money I'd be piloting one myself. Thanks for the welcome, I'm sure I'll have a question from time to time about my lil ol 420a.

well I own both cars. i have a 92 awd and 92 n/t 2.0 liter but thats still a 4g63. If you have the 2.0 in a 1g then its very easy to add a 14b and be much faster. And as far as the ultimate dsm its def the 92 awd. 6bolt motor and 4bolt rear end, no crank walk.....

I'm N/T also. Just found this this thread. I'm also probably the oldest or close to the oldest on this site.
I have a 93 Talon ES. My mods are: OBX header,K&N air filter,Amsoil 0W-30(yes, it is a power adder ;) ,Amsoil syn. trans & transaxle gear lube, modified air resonator, and missing gasket between end of cat and exhaust-I like the sound :)
I did take it to Bandi last year on a test/tune night just to see what it would do. I'm just as fast as all those turbo freaks...........if you spot me 5 sec. :D

One of our admins boosted a GS, hence his name. The 420A is a nice engine, but we're all definately boost junkies :) Hey you can always say that you're more reliable.

Hey you can always say that you're more reliable.
True, as long as you don't add boost. Then that goes out the window!
Ahhh, memories. :)

I sold it a little over a year ago. I don't even want to know how badly the new owner treated it. :(
I'll make it up there to drive the car soon Jake. I'm actually going to Castlerock today, but I have to be back in the Springs by 5. Maybe next weekend.
