odd oil pressure

ok to start.....the car is a 93 eclipse N/T,w/6 bolt swap....everything else is stock. When it first started I had My oil pressure guage reading decent pressure but I had a oil light on and would not turn off........after looking closer the oil pressure was not fluctuating as it should with the RPM's. I pulled the valve cover and it is spraying oil in the head with car running meaning I am getting oil.My question is this.....the 2 oil sensors are either bad????or could there be something in the oil filter housing restricting the oil form the sensors. I cant find my test light at the moment, but if I have oil squirting from the jets in the head should it be ok?????????any comments would be greatly apprieciated.

makes sense. I just dont want it to blow when I go to get the parts I am needing. And ty for the Reply,it is highly appreciated.
