Good Auto Mechanic in the Denver area?

[1995 GSX]

I have a 1995 GSX with 160,000 miles. Every time I shift gears there is a big cloud of smoke that comes out of the exhaust. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the Denver area?

Well, be a little bit more specific...

what color is the smoke? If it is black, that is normal on a turbocharged car. If it is white, you are burning coolant which usually calls for a bad turbo. If the smoke is blue, it is burning oil if I'm not mistaken. Look at the color and get back to us.

I would say coolant (white smoke) would point to a bad headgasket not turbo usually, if oil is burning (blue smoke) would point to bad turbo, rings, etc.. Its hard to tell what color smoke thought. If you can have someone follow you and possibly tell you that may help some.

I believe the smoke is white but I am not 100% sure. So it is either a turbo or a head gasket hah?
