What would be better to go with?
I have a '92 gsx with...
evoIII b16g
pte 680cc
3'' Intake Pipe
maf-t with 3'' gm maf
walbro 255
3'' cat-back
I was wanting a act 2600 6 puck but what do you guys recommend for my setup? My goals are 500hp but i wont be close to that for a while. So let me know what you guys think.
Thanks
Josh

just an opinion but I like the street disc just for streetability... and I've seen many people running the street disc with 450+ with minimum slip...

I personally have the street disc. It is a very good choice but some of the newer ones ahve a tendency to break. I had springs break on mine and it got warped a little but I pushed it very hard... Your decision in the end...

ya i think im just gonna go with a street disc.
But i was also wondering if it would be ok just to buy a act street disc instead of the whole kit because i like the pressure my pressure plate has now but im not exactely sure what kind of pressure plate and clutch setup it is because it was in the car when i bought it.
But i know its not stock beacuse jesse(1gsxtacy) and eddy(confusionisbad) have pushed it in and they say it feels like a least a 2600 maybe a 2900. What do you guys think?
thanks

well, make sure that the pressure plate is not stock. If it is, replace it. Also, I personally, would get the throw-out bearing as well just to be safe that it doesn't break.

2600 pp and a street disk combo netted me a 10.9@128 with a 1.5 60' time on slicks.
Granted it was slipping at that power level, it still held up great and now lives in my buddies Galant being daily driven.

im for sure gonna buy a new throw out bearing and get my flywheel resurfaced.
I was wondering if a stock clutch is the same size as a act street disc. What are the main differences between them?
thanks

Yes they are the same size.
I'm running a stock clutch disc with a 2600 PP right now. Ran a 1.559 60' down at Nopi on it.
The main difference is the act has 6 springs in it(it think), the stocker has 4 and 2 rubber 'springs'.
The act disc gripped more linearly, but that could have been because I didnt resurface the flywheel or break in the stock clutch disc.
