I'm rebuilding the exhaust. The 2-1/2" bottle neck where the cat is suppose to go has been a long time going. I want to tap into the 4" collector on the DP and run with that all the way back.

So far, I've found one place that will sell me 3.5" for $6.xx a foot. (carbon steel)
http://airflo.com/index.html
They don't sell the 4" though, they jump straight to 6". Anyone know a decent place that will sell 4" pretty cheap. Need not be stainless, just carbon steel.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm guessing you've already checked, but maybe just start calling up exhaust shops that specialize in diesel trucks?

Goto www.summitracing.com and lookup part number SUM-640040.

Here's the link directly to the part # Dave was referring to:
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?Ntt=SUM-640040&searchinresults=false&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&N=115

We'll consider it my penance for not even thinking of Summit earlier.

Funny how Dave knew the part # off the top of his head, wasn't it? ;)

Nah not quite memorized but close enough I had to double check ;)

I'm pretty sure Lakewood Muffler has 4" as well.

Yes, I believe Lakewood Muffler does have 4" pipe, but not mandrel-bent like Summit does. I guess it depends on if he's running it straight back or not?

You should PM John of "pronounced odd" here. He told me a good place to get misc. length piping for chromeolly roll-cage material for less.
It might be worth checking out for this stuff since their prices will be better due to their unusual stock, typically.
Or if you can't get ahold of him. Just PM me back and I'll call him.
