Greeley meet???

Well, summer is here. I know that not very many members really like to come to Greeley. But, I wanted to ask around and see if anybody did want to have a NoCo meet. Everyone is invited of course, I just have a feeling if anybody wants to show up, it will mostly be the loveland, fort collins, and greeley folk.

Heres the plan. Greeley has an old school drive in burger joint (very similar to Sonic). Only this one has been here since the fifteys. They will sometimes allow a car club to basically "rent" the place for an hour. They block off the spots and only let the scecified cars enter the lot. I havent asked how much that will be, but it sounds kind of fun.

Maybe after that, we can all go cruise, shoot pool, or hang out at my place, or do what ever you guys aggree on doing....beer drinking is only if you are over 21...j/k.

If you guys have any more ideas for the No Co/Greeley meet, please give me your input. I just want to see how many people would be cool with a meet like this. If there is enough people, I would like to rent the JB's (burger place) and take a few photos. If there are only like 3 people, it would be pointless to rent the place, we can just go there. Let me know what you all think.

I'm in Peakview by T-Bone Ranch and we have to have a Greeley meet...been thinking about it for awhile. Just so I know can you'll tell me the cars that your are driving so if I spot you I can give a heads up.

I've got a suggestion that would be cool to see. I think all the Greeley DSMers that are going to the BBQ tomorrow shold meet up and we can all drive down together...or something like that.

I figured I'd offer that any NoCo DSmers are always welcome at my place for a beer or to hang out...figured I could do a BBQ sometime soon too.

BTW...there is a maroon turbo Talon at Peakview that is all tuner done and I am trying to figure out if the guy is around...if anybody knows who owns that car let me know...I'd love to see the engine. :cool:

Well, never been to greeley....so why not. When is it suppose to be or did I miss it already? Anyone else going from denver? How many people are suppose to be there?

We are having a DSM meet the 28th of July at JB's Drive In, Greeley.

All are welcome. We are going to meet at 8:30PM. Even if you dont want to eat, bring your car and friends. I would suggest getting a burger and root beer though...good stuff.

Afterwards, anyone is welcome to come over to my place to shoot the stuff, hang out, have a beer (if you are over 21), watch car videos, etc. JB's is located on 8th avenue and 25th st. You cant miss it, it has been there for some time. PM me if you have any questions. No entry fee.

I had a great time at the meet last night. It was fun to talk to people in person that are into DSM's. Not a lot of people my age(36) are into this kind of stuff. Maybe someday I'll grow up but I hope not!! If we have another one I'll definitely be there. Maybe I'll remember my camera next time. :cool:

This is Charlie by the way (black 92 TSI), I just wanted to say it was nice to meet all of you guys the other night I had a good time. Thanks for all the imput on trying to diagnose whats wrong with the car, I'm glad it's probably just a boost leak. Hope we get to hang out again sometime soon! :)
