Friend of mine doesn't have internet at this time and is trying to put together/finish rebuilding his galant tranny. He needs a tech. manual for some reference...anyone have one he could borrow? He has the "ebay cd" but he said its not enough. And also, 1G - vr4 tranny...same?

So is it the same as the 1g or not? I'll probably read it somewhere in a bit but if someone wants to fill me in...

i think the only difference between a 1G and a VR4 tranny is the gearing for 1st gear. i believe VR4's redline at 40mph in 1st versus like 36 or something for regular 1Gs.

Yea, I just found out today...Chris told me the same thing...1st is a bit longer...thanks for the help.
