My first gear is very loud but all other gears are fine, what do you guys think that is?

Loud in what way? Is it really whiney? I'm not sure what "part/s" that are making the noise, but I can pretty much assure you that your 1st gear has been beat down like a red headed step child.

You could either be low on transmission fluid or the transmission fluid is old. Try changing it out and see what happens.

1st gear is just really whiney but no other gears are.

It could be excessive gear wear. I had that problem with a GVR4 tranny awhile ago. Replaced the gears and all was good. I noticed wear and fretting on the old gears when I took a close look at them after the swap. It looked like someone ran it with no oil at some time before I got it.
It could also be a failing bearing making the preloads very loose. It is very common for the intermediate shaft bearing to fail on the bell housing side (#/303), which is where 1st gear is, and the intermediate shaft will move around a lot.

I also had a gear wear problem with my GSX, first eventually stopped working and there were no functional synchros or gear teeth left, it made some dang funky noises for a while befre it stopped working, including, primarily whining.
