I took a 91 eclipse gsx auto awd car and put a 5 speed tranny in it. My question is are the ratios different or similar in the rear differentals between a 5 speed and an automatic?
Do i need to install a rear diff off of a 5 speed awd gsx?

I believe the ratios are different from auto to manual.
You need the rear pumpkin and axles from a manual tranny car.
If'n you can't find one, I have a couple of three bolts that I'd let go cheapish..
But, if it was me I'd try and find a four bolt setup. They're stronger, and will hold up better to abuse...

Auto and Manual rear diffs do have different ratios. You will need to swap it out.
I have a 3-bolt sitting here out of a '90 AWD. If you want it, $50 and it's yours.

If you stay with the same axles that you currently have (3bolt vs 4bolt) all you need is the pumpkin. Rear axles for auto and manual are the same.
