Alright you are looking for some new coilovers, oh yeah :D . well here are a few I have tried out and liked. First I tried the trusty TEIN, they were great, green, but great. They help the handling of the car tremendously, you could adjust the stiffness and the height of your ride, without ever taking them off your car! Really useful when you are lowered your car but then winter hits and you've got to raise her back up. Number two was a new company named D2, not to be confused with the german telephone company. They actually have been around for quite a bit tuning suspensions for a while throughout asia. I love them even more then the TEIN's. They perform just like the TEIN's and do everything just as easily, but they seem much more durable. They seem to hold up much better through hard cornering and are ideal for both street and track. The TEIN's were too rough for daily driving, and when you turned the stiffness down they would be too "soft", causing the car to bottom out a lot. Well my personal preference is D2, but I have heard that Eibach even makes great choices for our cars. But I chose D2 and will proudly stand by this product!

I've heard the K sports are VERY similar to d2's and are even cheaper. I've seen them go for about 900 on websites and as LOW as 600 in group buys. If anyone knows where I can get some cheaper PLEASE post up a link. I would be willing to buy asap if it is a good price. Thanks.

Depends on what you want to do with the car. I have a set of JIC's on my car and they work great.

If you haven't already spent the money, call RRE and talk to Ty about the new Megan coil overs they got in. They are very nice and very cost effective.

Codsk8er,
Yes the suspension from D2 is the same for the Talon as well as the Eclipse. :) Just be careful to order the right ones,;) there are 6 different suspensions to choose from. Since you have a 1G you would choose the D2-M15. I have had them for 1.5 years now and I love them, they still haven't started sagging like my Teins did! I really recommend them and hope you do to. :) Have a great day.

Hoffman,are these the ones you're talking about? I didn't find them on RRE's site.http://meganracing.com/products/product_detail.asp?prodid=584&catid=93

Those are the ones.
It doesn't have to be listed on RRE. They have access to anything you can think of. I even purchased my Volks from them. All you have to do is ask.

Thanks,Hoffman. I don't know what RRE charges, but I found some here (http://www.vipgarageonline.com/store/category/b7yb/Coilovers.html) for $925.
Also, in researching Ksports I found at Honda tech that some Honda guys have had trouble w/Ksports blowing a shock after 9k miles. This particular one was a DD and was only lowered an inch. He called Ksports and according to him they would replace for $100 + s/h with 6 mo. still on the warranty.

You also need to keep in mind, is that a trust worthy vendor (dorm room racing, slowboy, etc) and is the kit you're ordering with spring rates that work and not the bottom end jobs?
