i have a 95 tsi awd and i broke sum things wen i hit a curb in the snow with my steering system my axle popped out of the cv boot though too and got grinded up and then i got the steering knuckle from a front wheel drive 2g at a junk yard along with the spindle, axle, lower control arm, then i come to find out the axle doesnt fit in the transmission and im gonna order a new axle for the set up i got at the junkyard but since its all for a fwd shouldn't the axle still fit into the spindle and all the other steering set up i purchased?

First things first.

Welcome to RMDSM. This would be a good time to read the rules.

Second, Please use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

On to your question.

All cars with a 4G63 engine will use the same drivetrain componants. Does your car have the 420a engine? Did the junkyard car have a 420a?

T/E/L's in a FWD form come as RS's (with the 420a a.k.a. Dodge Neon engine), GS's (FWD Non-turbo 4G63) and GS-T (FWD Turbo 4G63).

Actually in 2G's there was no non-turbo 4G63. Both RS's and GS's came with the 420 (neon) and GSt and GSx both came with a turbo 4G63. The convertibles did come with a 2.4L 4G64 though. If your car is non turbo and you grabed an axle from a turbo they will be different.

Hmm. I stand corrected. I coulda sworn there was a 4G63 N/A 2g.

I guess not. Thanks Blake.
