Anyone here do any road racing since SC closed? I've been down to Pueblo a few times this past year and will be going again a few times this coming year. I'll also probably make the trek down to La Junta and even a 1 or 2 tracks out of state. Hopefully the 6 mile+ Genoa Motorsports track will be built for 2008 - then I won't have to do so much driving :)
I know this forum is full of mainly drag racers, but just checking...

I can't stand Pueblo but then again, what choice do we have. I've got stuff slated this year for the car that will let me race either NASA or Emod and I'm planning on making the whole season. Which means I won't get to Bandimere more than maybe once but I don't much care either way.

Yep, me too. I always do at least one Bandimere event if not all the import events. More of a show and less go, but I enjoy the time with buddies.
Both SCCA and NASA have time trials and road racing scheduled for this year. Pueblo, if you're just running for fun, will now ask you for your racing license before being permitted on the track.
I'm very excited to see what the new track brings. (crossed fingers)
If it's actually gets done, it will be one huge track.

I'll have to find out what NASA has been able to do, but I know Dave B. was trying to work with Pueblo to get HPDE log books approved for people to use at Pueblo for their basic Test n' Tune days. This way a racing license isn't required like they have stated.

I just got confirmation that you can still do Pueblo test and tune like normal if you have a NASA logbook and are signed off for HPDE 2, which most people who would use the track for test and tune should be able to get done easily. You just have to attend a NASA event or two. No racing license needed.

Pretty much every weekday unless otherwise specified on their schedule. I'm pretty sure it's posted on their site. Prices last year were $60 for 4 hours or $100 for 8. That might have gone up this year though.
