Im looking at buying a 1g gs-t for a daily to replace the gsx because i got the 750GSXR for fun. The only problem is that it has a slushbox instead of a stick. I was wondering if there was a swap for an MT available, if not are there any upgrades for a slushbox? I dont want a 365whp monster or anything like that but i would like something faster than most civics or all those other krapboks cars. Mostly something fun to drive, even though its fwd. Thanks again for the input

You can swap in a 5spd for sure just need to get all the components to go along with the tranny. Like shift cables, pedal assy, clutch master and slave along with lines.

It is not worth the time and money in my opinion. There is ALOT of stuff that has to be done and bought. I have a 2g auto fwd that had a stroker and a big16g and believe me when I tell you that autos are no slouch. And you keep your boost up during every shift.
Here is one that is not too shabby.

what about durability though? how much power can you reliably put through an auto box?

If this is what you want then you will be much better off with an auto. Most people underestimate them. I raced an srt4 running 25 psi and I stomped him bad. You will be beating alot of cars with decent mods.

I love my Syclone and it is an automatic. I am getting tired of my 2600 and 6-puck but the Centerforce and stock clutches wouldnt hold up to 300hp...
