DSM meet at Pueblo track, Saturday July 21st

I'd like to organize a meet around a NASA track event that's taking place at the Pueblo road course in July. There should be at least 2 of us DSMers participating that would love to see some support from the DSM crowd. I know not everyone is ready to participate but it would be nice to have some people at least come down and watch.

If anyone ever had an inkling to try driving on a race track, they ought to come down to see what it is like.

I first took my stock N/A Talon out last year and got bit by the racing bug. Although you are technically not racing, you are drivng on a real race track w/an instructor showing you what you need to do.

It is one heck of a kick.

I have really enjoyed NASA events. I have flagged at one before and you get to see some great cars like Ariel Atoms and Noble M12's. They help us put on our drift events over there at codrift.org. AGood people great time on the track and if I didnt just start weekend shift I would be there.

This is one of those times I wish I lived closer. Although with as much stuff as I have to finish right now I don't think I could make it anyways. To all those going have a safe and fun weekend, wish I could be there. :mad:

We are looking forward to it as well. Nice to see some faces from the board this far south. Although it seems, not many are the road race type, meaning we are the "elite" few. :D . I am atually taking a day from work to be sure to make it.

If anyone would like to help out with the organization of this meet I could use some help. I'll be on track half the time so if anyone is planning on going and not driving maybe you could help me out with some stuff?

I'll be bringing some drinks and would like to do a raffle. Any other ideas?

I'll be trying super hard to make this event. The brake brackets won't be in for about a week-ish, and we have assembly/body work to do.

With the parts I am missing, it looks like we "may" be able to drive to the track, but not on it. I should be free most of the afternoon while we are there.
