Of course I vote yes, but as another blown motor has popped up, I probably won't be there.... DSMs = Suck :)

I was there last year and it was great to get to see everyone's cars and meet a couple people!
If I dont have to work this year I will for sure be there!

My Aug. Saturdays have filled up except for the 18th.
I know a lot of people had arrived late and some left early on these all day events. I would concider we make it a 1/2 day for us. What'da think? If that's the case, we should find a place like Clement Park that is more NE of there to be more accomodating.
I will not be able to fund for the $80 reserve money for the property location at Chatfield, unfortunately.
Wazzelby offered to help so I think that Clement park in Littleton is a good location because this place is just as condusive to the activities and needs no resurve money. But we can not guarentee all the parking space together unless we plan on this being a morning event. There is usually space if you have to park away from the early arrival people. But part of the idea is to park allong side each other.
I for one believe that a morning event is best because it is also cooler. And if others decide to stay, that is up to them. But if ones who have to do something during the day they have some personal time to do it in the eveing if they wish without missing the main gathering and events.
So what'da think? A Clemont park Sat/Sun morning? We can still change these details. Nothing is set up yet.

I think it would be great to do one! I have no set days on when I work, but I would love to go to my first DSM BBQ. It sounds like fun!

I would come to meet up for a get together. I think it would be more fun to go to clemet park than chatfield. There is no fee to hang out at clemet and there is at chatfield..I think we could get a better get together at cleamet than we could at chatfield..

Im in with a few other dsm's / evos

+1 on meeting at clemet park.
There is usually a lot of parking there, lots of charcoal grills, and lots of open fields to play on.
Anyone up for tossing the frisbee? :D
Evenings usually work best for me; I work in the mornings :( . But if I dont work that day I will for sure come!
Yes. I agree now that Clement park is free admission we might be able to get more people to show up. So I think I might look into that instead now. What do you guys think?
I will talk to Allen and see if he can help with this.
p.s. I was accepted for my offer on my very first single family home last Sunday!!! WooHoooo!! So. I will be VERY busy the next couple months. (not to mention very broke) eeek.

Of course I'm down to help out. I put one together at Clement a couple of years back and it was definately a morning event. It filled up pretty quick. Let me know the best weekend for everyone and I'll start putting something together.
BTW, congrats on the house, give me a call!!

Clemet park is always a good time.
Sorry, a little hi-jack - :o
Every sunday, there is a meet at clemet with mainly awd cars, at about 630 in the SE corner of clemet park off bowles. Its pretty much anyone with any car, who wants to come hang out and talk about whatever. If, anyone is interested PM me.
On topic, the bbq at clemet would be a great time! Maybe my brothers 97 gsx that we are fully rebuiling, in and out, will be done! :D
If you want any help getting this together I am willing to help in any way I can!

Directions to Clement - From I-70ish - C470 East to Bowles. Exit Bowles and go east for about 5 or so miles. Clement will be on the right hand side.
From the Park Meadows area, take 470 West to Bowles, and follow the previous directions. The easiest way to get into the Northeast Corner Lot would be to take the last entrance into the park from Bowles (just before Pierce). (This is where we usually meet every sunday at about 630-7 :D .)
Cody
Thanks Fred and Allen!
Actually. If you take C-470 to N. on Wadsworth it may be shorter. At least you aren't bending totally around and headding back east 5 miles to get there. Clemont Park is about 1/2 mile east of Wadsworth on Bowles. OR

i'll try to make it if i can get my car fixed, wont go into gear.
Well. I've been so busy the last few days that I'm taking tomorrow off even, just to get things caught up. And for a commission job one doesn't want to take this luxury often. Between making up a rental document to suit, packing things, fixing and cleaning the T-home and setting up appointments to show the T-home. I have hardly enough time to also find new locks, appliances, appointments for inspections and repair estimates, organizing an itinerary of things, items and expenses for the new home repair projects. I also have to plan on getting everything accomplished by one week after the close date of the 21st to get moved out and have a functional house so that a new tenant can move in Oct.. 1st. ... Not to mention keep a very close eye on the stock market to get as much of my down payment money as I can from the rest of my investments before I cash it all out for before I need it for closing. (10 days in advance, the bank says). Whew! I'm sure I overlooked something, but I will definitely be interested in a meet next month. How's Mid-October sound? ... Maybe the 23rd of Sept if I can wing it. That would be cool! your thoughts? ew
Why is it whenever I type text in all the web sights my return/enter key doesn't reflect a paragragh break after posting a new message???

Wow! You got me worn out just reading all that work.
Sept. or Oct. works for me...again depending on the date.
