We need to somehow get lined up in qualifing (sp?).. That'll be for bragging rights forever..

I *might* go, since I have that day off from work anyway.

Its cool! I can't wait to make a pass on the new setup but i want to make sure i'm not rushing lucas and the guys that are tuning the car. Lucas and CarZPerformance ROCK and i have no doubts that those guys will rock it and get everything done! It just sucks i'm holding them back because i have to work!!

No, you just prefer to shoot oil at them! :p:p:p
I made three passes in the 128 - 129 mph range.
I tried some different launch rpms, but it would either bog or blow the tires off.
On the plus side, I'm trapping now using almost 10 psi less boost than I did previously ;)

Car looked great this time Hal. She hauls the mail now. Just need to get er back up where she belongs. Sorry about the belt again.
Great job to everyone tonight. A few issues, but all 4 rmdsm cars went home in one piece, and that other stock laser left in good shape too.
One guy got his first 13, another was picking up 23-24mph on the back half of the track.
Very nice to officially meet you as well Chris. Last time I was not able to focus as I was racing.

Get yourself a 1.8ish short time with that trap and you will be solid 13s. :)

That is not going to happen Derek. He is fwd. It was fun to watch him run out crazy like on the back half of the track.

Ok brat. Slicks and the two step don't count. He just has the two step. I am sure we can get him under 2.0 with a set of meats on the front.

I really wonder how many people have tried really stiffening up the rear springs and some adjustable shocks to resist lifting the front. I even wonder if strapping the springs up front might help. If the whole front has to come up at once versus just un-compressing the springs it might help the '60.
But yeah, I did miss the FWD part :o

Jacking up the rear is actually the correct way on FWD. And a super stiff spring. He has stock AWD springs for now. He totally unloads the front suspension.
For my next try at FWD, I am going to shoot for some where near 1000lb/in springs out back. That seems like what it takes for serious FWD cars. And 200-400 up front.
