I just moved from VT to Castle Rock and I thought I'd get on the board and meet a few locals. I just finished up this project and dragged it behind a budget truck all the way here. It still needs some work, but here's the car:
6-bolt 4G63t
SF Header
SF FMIC
Mutiny Custom Cams
FP3575 w/ t3 turbine housing
780s
Walbro 255 HP
DSMLink
MAFT
A whole bunch more...
Here are a few pics:
Thanks!
Chris Mitchell
Welcome to the boards. Its nice to see someone modding that year.

Nice to see you here Chris. I think you will like it here better. Can't wait until we can play with that thing this weekend. Glad your trip went well.
You said yesterday you are living in Castle Pines. Where at exactly? Because you are pretty much balling to be living out there.
Steven
Castle Pines, like the apartment complex by the Outlets?
Seth lives in Castle Rock!
Oh right, and Hi.

Thanks! I can't wait either, although still no luck with the fuel stuff. I live off Castle Pines Parkway, a little ways below Daniel's Park in King's Crossing.

I used to live about 5 min from you till this Sept when I moved.
Only 780's? :D Get some 1600's and run E85. There's an E85 pump at the Western in Castle Rock right next to the Ford dealer.

That car you built is very cool! I'd love to see it in person. Thanks for the compliments!

Well, yes and no. I am trying to locate this stupid part (http://www.evtmotorsports.com/fuelparts) (anyone have on kicking around?) for my fuel system because right now it is losing fuel pressure under boost due to a leak. There have been moments during testing where the car has seen enough fuel and it is a scary ride! I can't wait to get it fixed up and tuned well.

Thanks for the positive comments, guys! I going to replace the fuel pump this weekend (hopefully) and try to get this thing tuned back up this week. Maybe we could organize a small gathering next weekend so that I could get to know some of you in the area.

OOOOHHHWEEEEE, I'm excited about there being another built ass 4g63t Mirage out there. I'll be the first to call you out once you get it running. I'm the fastest 4g61t in the country...so nothing much to worry about.

Ah, nothing like some competition to keep me motivated :) My setup should prove to be quite lethal in a 2018 lb car!

I love the 4th gen Mirages...so light, more aerodynamic, longer wheel base...but mine did weigh in at 2135 full race weight last time.
The black widow fears no one...

LOL, my car is rather simple set up. It used to be red but I decided to spend some time and put a nice smooth flat black paint job on it. So its black with a red underbelly...aka the black widow. Stock bottom end 4g61t, 4g67 head, 2.0 T/B, PTE 50trim BB and a few supporting mods. I had to completely gut this thing to get it down below 2000 lbs dry. Just ran a 12.357 @ 122.13 mph at bandi on my street set-up. Radials, 19 psi, 91 oct pump gas.

Well I just ordered a new pump (thanks for the heads-up, Steven) so I should have the car back up and running by the weekend. Forecast is sunny and 60 this weekend, so I think you guys might have to show me where all the fun back roads are around here :)

I'm itching to see this car. Mine is gonna be down a couple more weeks because I'm gonna need a few more mods to have any chance. I live near you and would really like to take a look at your car if you don't mind. I could limp my car there so you can see the ole 4g61t. Shoot me a PM if your interested, or shoot me a PM to go to hell...
