What do you mean by your 1st gear is going out? Does it grind? Does it pop out of gear?

grind's and pop's out after that so..... is it going out?, or syncro's? what you think?..... but every outher gear is great smooth shifting from there.....

It sounds like the hub thrust surface could have wear, or the synchro slider could be bad:

Yeah, you need a tranny. Why not rebuild the one you have now instead of buying another? Getting another used one could be trouble as just about every DSM tranny that has never been touched has some issue with it.

Yes, plus shipping. I think our last order in your area was around $150-175 for the shipping. We can do an exchange, but if you want that option you may have to wait a couple of weeks. Currently, all of my 2G GS-T cores are out and I'm waiting for the customers to send me theirs. I should see some come back next week. The $800 build is just an OEM rebuild with some minor upgrades. If you have a stock car, or something around a 16G it should be okay. Sending us yours for the rebuild would be the best route to take if you can do that...
