Denver Metro DSM Meet.

I want to organize Meet in the Denver Metro area. My idea is to have everyone show up with a package of sausage and I can take me portable grill and we can grill....I could also bring coffee.

The problem is where and when. Because it is winter I feel that people will not be willing to show up with their DSM and chat over a grill.

If anyone is willing to help me let me know. Either send me a PM or reply here. I really want to make this happen.

Yea guys the whole idea is to get something planned here soon. So you can get your cars out and ready. No Definite date is set yet. So take your time to do your clutch, cause im still waiting on my front mount setup to arrive..YEAH!. Do you guys have any idea where is a good place to loiter? Yes that is a good idea! But I play in a in-house league on wenesdays and they Tow people like crazy there that abuse the lot. I can ask one of the guys that works there if we can use their secondary lot for the meet on a weekend night since they know me fairly well. Thanks for the idea! I didnt realize that was an option. Ill be back with an answer tomorrow after I play there.

We had a meet there (Table Steaks South) before, it worked well. We also hit up Dave and Busters/Splitz off of Church Ranch and Hwy. 36 once.

That has got to be the dumbest shit I've ever heard unless said person's house is equipped to host the people drinking for a nice sleepover. This is a car enthusiast board, and as such we absolutely do NOT condone the thought of drinking and driving.

Furthermore, I can’t see us having a cookout or meeting up wherever without the consumption of alcohol taking place regardless as to whether it’s condoned or not, so my suggestion is also attempt to make that alcohol accessible and readily available. So please, allow me to explain the order of things. At Eck’s saloon the typical beer pong game consist of 6 cups on each team, 3 of these cups are filled with water, the other 3 are filled with beer about 2-3 fingers high. The teams consist of two, imagine 3 Dixie cups filled 2-3 fingers high with beer, now if you combined those 3 cups it would be the equivalent of one beer split between two people or say a half beer per person per game :rolleyes:. Eck’s saloon itself does not wish to support drinking and driving and they have modified the game to reflect this. As additional incentive, seeing as it would just be a bunch of guys, Tuesday nights are ladies nights so we’d have some girls running around to possibly hit on and free pool is also in effect. Of course I do realize the difficulty involved with getting out on a Tuesday night given most work schedules, myself included, but it’s a thought people. Lastly, v413nc3, a healthy dose of tact in your diet could really help you out.

Allow me to explain. I've seen the "game" beer pong. No where else have I seen it played with water. Only beer. So standing from where I'm at, that's drinking. So take the sand out of your nethers :) By the by, I'll have all the tact I feel like. Also. The morons of the DSM community who register here tend to weed themselves out pretty effectively.

Still will take about 20 mins even if you end up pulling the battery.

My vote is just to find a workable day and simply show up.

They are a business which should be happy they're getting the extra traffic and should be able to handle the "rush".

If they make an issue about it then maybe they shouldn't get the business.

That is essentially how Anne and I (by what I remember) set it up last time.
