I am simply spreading the word. Here is the original post on dsmtuners

Hey DSMer’s,
My friend and I have set up a DSM Dyno Day at Mac Autosports in Parker. The date is Saturday, March 28th. We need at least 10 people for Mac to hold the day for us. The cost is $55 for three pulls. We are going to have a grill there so you can bring your own food to BBQ. This is going to be fun and it would be a great way to start out the year. You can just post here or send me a pm if you would like a spot. Mac is located at 18436 Longs Way Suite 103 Parker, Co 80134.

I might be up for it. It would be nice to see what power my car puts down at Mac considering there dyno puts out really high numbers compared to others!

That's ironic because my car put down almost identical numbers at MAC as it did at Carz.

Just ask for uncorrected numbers and be done with it.

I hate to get off topic, but someone from awdpirates has taken their wrx to a number of different dyno shops and has the never changed anything between them ie engine mods or tune (other than the day and weather conditions). So here it goes:
Revolutions Dynamics Dynamometers: 201.4 HP w/ 1.14 correction factor
SR Tuning Mustang Dyno: 238 HP w/ 1.223 correction factor
MAC DynoJet Dyno: 236.95 HP w/ 1.23 correction factor
Trenz Dynomite Dyno: 222 HP w/ 1.2061 correction factor
Uncorrected it comes out to...
Revolutions: 176.3 HP
SR Tuning: 194.6 HP
MAC: 191.9 HP
Trenz: 184 HP
So all seem to be within 10% or so of each other in terms of UNcorrected power.
Personally I actually prefer MAC cause they have a weather station so I know me dynoing on a cold winter day making XXX power then going back on a hot summer day, it will take into account those conditions. Where as if I went to revolutions and put down 500hp on a cold day, then did some modifications, went back on a hot day and made 490 I would think wtf? Cause they are not using a correction factor to account for weather or really altitude given the changing barometric pressure.
On topic... I will go to this if my car is up and running. If not, at least attend to watch.

Revolutions has a "weather station" as well. It just not plugged into the dyno software directly. They just manually enter the info before the runs.
I prefer Revolutions, because I can steady state tune and get my entire map tuned, not just full throttle sweep.
I'll probably show up to watch and hang out.

Even if you don't want to run on the dyno. Bring your rides and we could turn it into a car show as well. I'll be taking alot of pix and would love to see all the DSM's out there.

I plan on going to this. So if your car isn't done in time would you like to ride up with me?
If the weather is decent, I might swing by.

Dependent if I can get the new setup on by then, I'll stop by and try to squeeze on.

Well, based on your brand new 2" to 2.5" hose reducer....this should not be a problem.....right?:D

I was kicking around coming by and maybe running the '95 just to see for shits and giggles. Though it is supposed to snow Thur and Fri so we'll see how the weather is.

I'd like to see how various dynos stack up to trap speed estimated horsepower levels.
I put down 611 (uncorrected) at MAC, so a trap of 133 is right in line based on a car weight of 3350.

I'll be there, pretty sure I'll run my car. I expect (uncorrected) what I made at Revolution. Gonna run the same everything I just had at the track, I havent touched anything.

Super Rupair's hp was 17% less than my trap speed hp, and I'm pretty sure those numbers were corrected. At 23psi I made 350whp on their dyno, but at the same boost I trapped 117mph at 3265lbs which comes out to 410whp.
I doubt I'm going to make it. Simply because there will be too much snow on the ground to get the GSX out of the driveway.
Too bad too because I would have liked to show you guys the latest round of feature updates for ECMLink that I'm beta testing ;)

Hey guy,
I just got back from Mac. We ARE still doing this. The order we will be running has changed. Mac needs to run all 1G first then the 2G second. So if you are coming and have a 1G, please get there as soon as you can. We will be starting at 9:30. We need at least 10 cars to get the discount of $55 for three pulls. The roads in Parker are clear and drying out. Please come if you can. This is going to be a lot of fun and I would like to meet some local DSMer.
Please PM me if you are coming, so I can get an idea on the number of people.

Well I have to say that way a very sorry turn out. We had a told of 8 cars that showed.
Thanks to the guys that showed up. We had some 4g63's putting down some really good numbers.
I would like to do something like this again, but not sure it would be worth it now.

Who had the highest numbers for the day?

I believe it was John in his Mirage @ ~39xhp uncorrected. There was a 2g FWD that put down 478hp correct also.

Thanks gsxnoob for putting that together. I also was alittle disappointed with the turn out. I thought/hoped that my car would run my corrected number uncorrected but I guess that leaves room for improvement. What numbers did you end up with?

I believe the white mirage had the highest numbers 393hp uncorrected true hp and 487hp corrected fake numbers....Now just have to clean up the overly rich tune and check spark plug gapping...
I thought the guy driving it on the dyno was sexy in the white mirage lol....
Hal i thought you would still be there when i got back but you left so sorry didn't mean to be rude....:p
Turn out was usual of a dsm dyno day seems like nobody has there cars going....

No big deal.
It was later than I thought so I headed home.
This morning I put nearly a 100 miles on the car playing with S/D.
Collecting MAF vs S/D data for Tom and Dave.

Thanks spyve4.
I logged 389hp corrected or 310hp uncorrected. Not bad for a baseline. Now it's time to start upgrading. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was too broke to go (need alternator and money for dyno) and then had other errands I needed to run.
