So I Am Toying Around With The Idea Of Putting My Moderately Built 6-bolt 4g63 In A Rwd Drive Setup. The Donor Car Will Be A Rwd 72 Toyota Corolla.... Interested Yet? One Problem, I Need To Find A Rwd Tranny (5 Speed) That Will Work In This Setup, Now I Have Researched A Bit And Caught Wind Of A Conquest Starion 5 Speed Will Work, If Any One Could Shine Some Light On This Subject, It Would Be Appreciated. P.s. 12a Rotary Comming Out Of The Car With A Racingbeat Intake Manifold With A Holly 650 4-barrel Will Be Up For Grabs Also... Thanks For Looking, Willie:d:d

I just picked up a 92 Mitsubishi Mighty Max that has a RWD tranny that I am 99% sure will bolt up to the 4g63. I have plans for this though. Buschar sells motor mounts and adapter plates for a rwd automatic set up. I believe someone makes a bell housing adapter for a late 80's Supra tranny.

Good luck!

The trans will not bolt up to the 4G63. The 4G64 that came in the mighty max has the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 2.6 liter in the Conquest/Starion. It's affectionately known as the 2.4 liter "WIDE" block because it's slightly wider. You can however put a G63T head on that mightymax and have a turbo truck :)

The late supra Tranny that iv seen used is a R154.
