There is a group of us from High Altitude Imports going out the Highplains Raceway August 14th for the open lap day.
We are doing a half day from 1 to 5pm.
Would be nice if there were some other DSM's out there! ;)

I'll drag the '95 down there probably. Erron was giving me hell the other day about going down there and I'm set to watch him on the 22nd anyways. I'd love to try it myself though also.

Come with us on the 14th Chris! Should be a good time. I'm thinking I may just drive there. Caravan?

I finally made it out to HPR this past Friday.
I had Hawk HPS pads on.
Brakes went up in smoke the first time slowing down on the back straight, and I wasnt even doing anything yet. The HPS Pads on the 11" 2 piston brakes are shit. The pad just transfered material to the rotor and they were pretty much done before I started.
Melted the stock fan and shroud pretty good.
All season tires are no good for traction in any direction :P
Had alot of fun. Now I'm looking for a big brake setup, wheels, tires, and radiator. :D

I dont for sure, wasnt watching any thing but the oem gauge.
The needle was getting 3/4 though or higher when I would actually romp on it for a few corners.
Most the time I would just take it easy around the track and hammer it down the back straight.
