member discounts

since this is a new organization, we need to start making contact with some of the businessess that we regularlly use. if anyone has experience in talking to business owners in allowing us discounts please explain the best way to go about this, so we all can enjoy.

:p Well for now we can still get our discount by saying were CODSM members. And I still have my member card and am still kind of active on dsm board. But in the future once we get more members I think we should set something up.

I could talk with Mile High Mitsu and see what we can arrange but if anyone else can talk to your other vendors by all means give it a shot. Also if they want a list we have a member that can do ID cards ;-)

I used to have a deal worked out with the parts manager of Phil Long Mitsubishi.. He gave me a 20% discount on everything because I bought so much shit from them.... If there was still a damn mitsubishi dealer up here, Id see what I could do..... But alas..... I cant.... :p Good idea on getting this discount thing started for the new club though.....

there is also a guy here in the springs (Jason), who has a shop out of his house. i've bought stuff from him before, and at prices better than mike's. so anyway, i'm deffinettly going to call him about the new club.

I can talk to the mitsu dealer up here for a 25% discount. He will forsure because I tend to stop by each week for something else that broke. We are still part of dsm which means we get all the same discounts that are on the dsm.org vendors list. If not we should.

his name is Jason. hes really good friends with Marc Henderson and another guy Brice (97 gst, but not on the CoDSM list). so since i know these guys, i know him. i honestly can't remember the shop name, but i'm sure Rob and Eric do. anyway hes mainly a Honda guy, but he has contacts with all the major import performace part companies. i planned on getting my new clutch(act2600) and a profec-b from him.
