anyone see a possible problem with this?

i don't see myself running up 70psi of fuel on 660cc injectors. the only thing i can see being a pain is downsizing from -6an to -3an and squeezing the return line on.

Fuel pressure is controlled indirectly by boost psi thru the afpr. So if your base fuel pressure is 43 psi, with the vacuum line disconnected, you'd have 68 psi of fuel pressure at only 25 psi of boost pressure. (I can tell you that I've run 24 psi of boost on the street with some 100 octane and was still getting zero knock sums. You'll find this true as well with a decent big turbo.) Fuel pressure has to rise with boost to keep a pressure differential, so that the fuel will actually squirt in correctly.

Now from there, you'd control how much fuel is actually injected thru whatever size injectors, with the s-afc. The s-afc's airflow signal to the ecu is what tells the ECU how long to keep the injectors opened up. This is IPW (injector pulsewidth) or DC (duty cycle.)

IMHO, there is a better option out nowdays. The spoolinup.com AFPR. It is a true bolt-on. Check out my website for pics of it on my dsm. It works very well, doesn't take up more room and looks good. You can higher or lower your base fuel pressure. It also comes with two different rated springs. The bypass hole inside of it is huge compared to the stock fpr's bypass hole.
