I have an Apex FMIC that could use a new core as many fins were bent. I spent about two hours w/ 2 screwdrivers straightening them back out which doesn't look too bad. The whole thing has a bit of a twist in it from hitting a curb at like 5mph im the snow, doah! It is still VERY funtional but not that great to look at? My piping is in great shape & getting a ceram-a-chrome coating as we speak.

I'm wondering if it would be easier to have someone weld a new core onto the endtanks or just try to sell it & buy a whole new core/endtank combo? If someone is good at welding or knows someone who'll do it for a good price, then this would probably be my choice as I doubt anyone would pay $350-400 for this core?

Call my friend Thomas, his welding looks like art work, tig, mig, stainless, or what ever you need. 303-246-8628

Holy old post batman! Welcome to RMDSM, where post whoring is frowned upon. And I can only call reviving a thread that is almost 6 years old post whoring :)
