Hamburger Stand

Who all is interested in weekly get-togethers at the Hamburger Stand in Lakewood? Last year had some decent turn outs, but it definately could be better. Or we could alternate week ends with a spot dwon in the Springs since there's quite a few members from down there. Someone had mentioned a place where all sorts of cars show up down there, so that could be a possibility. I might be meeting up with a guy that has a lightly modded new Prelude this coming Saturday, possibly the Hamburger Stand, and we will hopefully get to race him with our Spyder that night too. I'm sure he might have friends show up, so we can't have DSMs outnumbered! He's also looking for a 1G Talon AWD, so I'm sure he'd like to check out everybody's cars.

Yep, the guy with the Prelude will be there. His name is Ryan and he appears to be pretty cool so far. He's really interested in checking out everyone's Talons/Eclipses (except for yours James ;) ) as he's looking to get a 1G and start modifying, so he's gonna be there to learn and not talk shit. So, Quinn, be cool when he drives in with a Honda and try not to spit out too many verbals at him! :) I gave him directions from Aurora, hopefully they are good enough.......

Just checked the weather for tomorrow. It appears that it may start raining tomorrow afternoon/ early evening, just in f#####g time. Doesn't that just suck! :mad: So I guess we'll have to play it by ear tomorrow, but let's keep our fingers crossed.

I think I might make it. I have about 5 more hours to go on the bodywork. Its a real rough job on the body work but I am just doing it as fast as I can just to get the car on the road for now. But count me in, i'll be there around 5-6.

Checked the Weather Channel just now and it looks as if the rain will hold off till early tomorrow morning! :) It may be fairly cloudy for most of the day, but it should be perfect temps otherwise. It should even still be in the 60s after 8pm.

Here's a current head count..........

5) Shea

8) Erik Westlund - possibly with some DSMer coworkers
9) Jenni & myself - we'll have our 2 2Gs with us.

So at least 10 of us, with at least 8 DSMs but maybe more if Erik's coworkers show up. Not a bad turn-out for the years 1st HS meeting, plus none of the Springs people are gonna make it.

If someone wants to post anything on CODSM, then we could have a few more show up, like Max and James LeMere, if anyone cares.
