sense the national site does not seem to get updated or even the fricken broken links updated... WILL SOME ONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET ONTO THE DSM IRC SERVER... im new to irc and i suck at it sooo bad...

There is nothing wrong with the national IRC channel IF you understand a few things:

1) Don't ask if you can ask a question - duh
2) Don't initate private chats unless you are invited
3) Don't ask questions that you haven't tried to research
4) When given advice, go put it to use... then come back and ask again if the problem still exists

The "regulars" are some of the most knowledgable DSM'rs around, and "they've heard it all before". Don't waste their time by using IRC as the "primary" resource.
