Dynoed the car yesterday for the first time since the rebuild.

Dynopro has a new wideband O2 sensor and they let everyone use it for free. I also won a raffle drawing for a free dyno baseline, which I was able to use yesterday. :)

The car is running extemely rich. Way rich. The wideband only meausres down to 10:0.1, and I fell below that between 5000-5500 rpm on the big pull.

The first pull was even richer, as I had the VPC zeroed out and was adding 5% from 4500-7000. After the first pull I set the AFC to zeros as well, and the A/F ratio still fell off the chart. There's a bunch more power to be had with getting to an 11.5:1 or 11.8:1 from my current 9.X:1...

So, with that said - the car put down 626 rwhp and 554 ft/lbs at 26psi. At least 25, maybe 50, hp can be found by getting the fuel curve to something which resembles sanity. Adding a few 4 more psi in the manifold? Who knows. And an exhaust cam is good for another shot in the arm.

I'm pretty pumped. Bigtime. I can't wait to actually TUNE the car and then go back and see what it lays down.

http://www.dynopro.com has the results. Check the top 10 Mile High Horsepower Ratings. :)

Cheers.

That's awesome John! :) Can't wait to see you improve upon your "slow" times from last year, sheesh. So I take it you're keeping the car now? Shea and I both kinda figured that you'd change your mind. Maybe some day later this summer when Dave, Hal, you and myself, and others all have our cars running properly, we could all go out in the middle of nowhere and have some fun, that would be a blast. :)

Hard to say, Cody. That dyno sheet will speak volumes to the right buyer. If someone offers me a bag of $$ with the right amount in the bag, they can have the keys. :)

And yes - going out to play would be good.
