Police blocking off College Ave. on the weekend nights

I find myself being more annoyed by law enforcement and government each day. The police don't like the college/HS kids to drive up and down college ave. so they block it off, along with all of the businesses. The solution to every problem is to pass a new set of laws. They say that the cruisers damage property. If someone is out to damage property, they will do it regardless of where they are. At least with cruising, everyone is in one central location. I am thinking of this now because I just put alot of work into my car and I want to go drive it around this summer. PLUS no one posts here and I wanted to see if there was anyone else looking. 8^)

They used to block off College Ave on ocassion way back in '93 & '94 when we used to regularly make the trip from Westminster to to Ft Collins, Nothin' new.

Westminster is "supposedly" cracking down on cruisers but lasat weekend it was packed! I saw one cop the whole night??? That's a first! I also found out that the officers who are patroling Westminster's famous loop are all doing it as voluntary overtime. So they are getting paid approx $45- $50 an hour. Fine examples of our tax money at work:o
