Ever since my run in with the Jetta (check the street racing section... "On the way home") my clutch has felt different. And when im on WOT, I smell the clutch. Is this a bad thing? Is the damn thing going out or what?

I would definately think about getting a new clutch soon. The Centerforce should be just fine for a 2gnt.

if patrick was here he would recommend the centerforce dual friction clutch. i believe RRE has the best price on them.
when its floored, do the rpms climb and you don't really go anywhere? thats usually the best indication the clutch is done.

Its not slipping that bad yet... i just notice that ever since that night iv noticed that its a lot easier to burn the clutch. Like even getting on the highway, Im usually on it pretty hard and I always smell clutch burning now.

For na apps. I would say go w/ the cfdf clutch. If you are going to go turbo or nitrous I wouldn't recommend it. They burn up to fast in a force induction car. I went through one in less than a year and at the time I was only pushing 5lbs and I didn't ever really drop it hard.
If you are going to go into the world of forced induction I would go w/ a Clutch Masters stage 3or4. They are the best clutch for the 420a on the market.
