I was checking out COSR and it appears that the entire Arapahoe County Police force showed up last night because some idiots were there causing trouble with the regular Taco Bell crowd. They called the police to get the idiots out of there, but most of them scattered, then they supposedly banned anyone from hanging out at Taco Bell anymore. That sucks because I was hoping tonight would be pretty fun with all of us cruising down there together.
Any other ideas?

Yeah after reading that on COSR I will not be attending the event at Taco bell. This is also why people need to keep quiet about the HS. Pretty soon there will be nowhere to "hang out". Ill still be at HS around 7, I guess we can figure somethig out there unless anyone else has any brilliant ideas :cool:

Actually last Saturday the TB lot was packed (for once mostly DSMs) and the cops just drove through and made sure nothing was amiss and let everybody hang.
Unfortunatly it might only be a matter of time till some other idiot messes it up again and for good,the cops are only gonna give a couple of warnings.

hey does anyone want to go out on friday?? again? i am out there almost every night i guess you would call me a regular.. anywho the cops are really cool now, i guess they had a meeing about the spot, and as long as we are good they can't do anything. You all should come out again, we had a solid turn out on both friday and saturday. It was fun!!

I'll try to be out tomorrow but I might hit the TB up by SW Plaza looking for a Ford Falcon that blew me off when I lined up against him at a light.
I think it's the same guy who I raced a few years ago with my smaller turbo and maybe he recognized my car and didn't want to lose. He claimed it ran 12s back in '99,I guess I ran 11s back then.:D

I should be up at the Good Times/TB parking lot by around 9ish this Friday.

I realize this real current but it sounds like a regular meet... (new to the area so dun laugh) How far is County Line from 6th/Airport area? I'v got some friends that area tired of the Theatre crowded out at Arapahoe/Parker... I for sure am, just gotta get back on the road =(

Taco bell is off of c-470 and quebec. From that intersection you take a right and drive to the light. if it is red, stop, then when it turns green go down the hill and you'll see taco bell and usually about 10 cars as an average on a weekday.

nod, soon as I get my car back on the road, ill post for some times/dates that you guys might be running out there... per mapquest its a 22minute drive.... I'm guessing no... its only 18 miles... about 6 more miles than what I had been driving to meet up at Arapahoe at the theatre... hopefully this week I'll get my car to the shop, totally was not feeling up to dealing with it last week. Or maybe my buddies and I can get it back on the road w/o the knock who knows. Hoepfully its easy and cheap ;)
