Those last two games were the Avs that won the Stanley Cup last year. If they play like that they have a chance of winning again this year...

If the Avs beat the Wings and advance to the finals it'll be 1996 all over again. 4-0 sweep of the 'Canes.

That was a sweet game last night! Fortunately I was able to get tickets to that game, I was 20 rows behind the glass in one of the corners. :D
The Avs can play with the Bloody Tampons (ie. the Red Wings), but with the rest the Wings had it will be much tougher than the Sharks. I didn't follow the Wings first two series too closely, but I recall hearing that they scored mostly on the power play. IF that's the case, then they will have trouble beating the Avs since Colorado is much more diciplined than the Wings first two opponents and thus won't give them too many PP opportunities, plus the Avs are probably the toughest team on the penalty kill. It's kind of a toss up, but the Avs have had the Bloody Tampons number in the playoffs for a while now. :) I guess we'll have to wait and see! It should be fun.
